If you currently hold the Bilt Mastercard (rates & fees), you now have until February 1 at 11:59 p.m. PT to make your choice, whether you want to transition to one of the 3 new Bilt credit cards or stay with Wells Fargo and lose the Bilt co-brand. That’s an extension from the original January 30 deadline, giving you a bit more breathing room to evaluate your options.
The extra time is meaningful. With 3 different cards now in the lineup, each with distinct earning structures and benefits, deciding which makes the most sense for your spending patterns isn’t exactly a snap decision. Having until February 1 means you can properly compare the cards, consider how each fits your strategy, and make a choice without rushing.
Keep in mind that this extension applies only to existing cardholders who are eligible for rollover. Waiting doesn’t mean opting out entirely, you still need to make an active choice by the deadline if you want to ensure a seamless transition to one of the new products.
