Air France is opening a new lounge at London Heathrow (Terminal 4) in spring 2026.
The lounge will be open to La Première and Business Class passengers, plus Flying Blue Elite Plus members. If you’re flying KLM or another SkyTeam airline, you’ll also have access as long as you’re eligible, which makes this especially useful if you transit London fairly often.
The space itself is being designed by Air France’s in-house team alongside SGK Brandimage, and it’s planned to be over 750 square meters with seating for about 150 people. Translation: not tiny, not cramped, and (hopefully) not chaotic.
What’s actually interesting here is the focus on experience. Air France is leaning into the French art of hospitality, with proper dining areas, a real bar featuring French wines and champagne, plus spa and relaxation zones. There will also be dedicated workspaces if you need to get something done before boarding.
This lounge makes a lot of sense when you look at Air France’s presence in London. Right now, the airline runs up to seven daily flights between Heathrow and Paris–CDG, which is basically a nonstop shuttle feeding their long-haul network. And starting March 29, 2026, Air France will also launch two daily flights to London Gatwick, giving travelers even more options depending on which side of London they’re dealing with.
Bottom line: if you’re flying SkyTeam through London, this is a genuinely nice upgrade to the ground experience, and one that could actually make Heathrow a little less painful.
