Singapore Airlines just released its KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes for January 2026, and there’s real value this month, including business class from JFK to Frankfurt and several other long-haul routes.

For a limited time, KrisFlyer members can book select Saver awards at 30% off the usual mileage cost.

You need to book by December 31, and travel must take place between January 1 and January 31, 2026.

Spontaneous Escapes are one of the few times Singapore Airlines discounts premium cabins with miles. After the 30% discount, business class from JFK to Frankfurt prices at just 62,300 KrisFlyer miles one-way, which is excellent value for a true long-haul business class product.

These discounted rates apply only to specific flight numbers, and seats are limited. If you’re booking round-trip, both directions must match the eligible flight numbers for the discount to apply.

Taxes and fees are extra and paid in cash, but Singapore’s surcharges are generally reasonable compared to many European carriers.

Key Rules to Know (Before You Transfer Points)

This is important:

Spontaneous Escapes cannot be changed or canceled

Availability is first-come, first-served

Blackout dates apply on some routes

Only flights listed in the promo qualify — no exceptions

Because transfers to KrisFlyer are irreversible, only move points if you see availability and are ready to book immediately.
