An Amex Platinum Hilton Diamond trial is landing in select inboxes right now, and the terms are unusually generous: register with the code in your email, get Diamond status immediately for 90 days, complete 10 nights inside that window, and Hilton extends Diamond through March 31, 2028.
For context, Diamond normally takes 50 nights, 25 stays, or $11,500 in eligible spend in a calendar year. Ten nights for roughly two years of top-tier status is a steep discount.
What Diamond Actually Gets You
Executive lounge access, space-available upgrades (suites included at many properties), 100% bonus points on every stay, and the daily food and beverage credit at brands without a lounge. On a Conrad or Waldorf stay, the lounge and upgrade alone can outrun the room rate.
The Catch Is the 10 Nights
This is targeted. There’s no public registration link — the code lives in the email, and if it isn’t there, this one isn’t yours to chase. And 10 paid nights is only cheap if you were already staying. Booking throwaway nights to manufacture status is how people end up spending $1,400 to save $600.
Two more things worth reading twice: award nights typically don’t count toward these trial requirements, and third-party bookings (Expedia, Booking.com, most OTAs) don’t either. Rove bookings typically do count if booked as “loyalty eligible” on Rove.
