Hilton’s bonus points promotion 2026, officially called Stay More Earn More, is back with a structure that rewards repeat stays instead of long ones. Registered Honors members can earn up to 15,000 bonus points across five stays completed within six months of registration. It’s targeted, it’s capped, and the timing of when you register matters.

Let’s walk through what’s actually on the table, who it’s for, and why the six-month clock is the part nobody’s talking about.

What Hilton’s Stay More Earn More 2026 promotion offers

The structure is an escalating ladder. You earn more bonus points with each additional stay you complete, and the bonus resets at zero if you don’t stack consecutive stays. Here’s how the earning works:

Total if you complete all five: 15,000 bonus points.

A “stay” is defined as consecutive nights at the same hotel, regardless of how many nights that is. One night counts the same as ten nights. That’s a meaningful detail because it means short stays at lower-end Hilton brands earn the same bonus as a week at a Waldorf Astoria.

All Hilton brands participate, so Hampton Inn, Home2 Suites, DoubleTree, Hilton Garden Inn, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, and everything in between counts. Bonus points are awarded on top of the regular points and elite credit you’d earn from the stays anyway, though they don’t count toward elite tier qualification.

Registration must happen before you check out of any stay you want to count. Stays completed before registration don’t qualify.

How to register (and what to do if you weren’t targeted)

This is a targeted promotion, which means Hilton selected which members get the offer. If you received an email or see the promotion in your Hilton Honors account, you’re in. Many members have reported being targeted, so the pool seems wide.

If you didn’t get an email, try visiting the registration page directly while logged into your Hilton Honors account. Some members who didn’t get an email have still been able to opt in by going straight to the registration link. If the page lets you register, you’re eligible. If it doesn’t, there’s no workaround.

Registration must use the same email address tied to the Honors account that received the offer. The registration deadline is December 31, 2026.

The 6-month registration clock — why timing matters more than you think

The six-month window to complete your five stays starts ticking the moment you register, not when you book or when you complete your first stay.

If you register on June 1 and your first Hilton stay isn’t until October, you’ve burned four months of your window for no reason. You now have two months to complete five stays.

Hold off on registering until you’re confident your stays will actually happen within the six-month window. The registration deadline is December 31, 2026, so there’s no rush. If you have stays planned for late 2026 or early 2027, wait. If you have stays starting next week, register today.

Also worth noting: registration must happen before checkout of any stay you want to count, so don’t wait so long that your first qualifying stay slips through the cracks.

How this stacks with other Hilton promotions and credit card earning

The good news is that Stay More Earn More can be combined with other targeted Hilton offers and global promotions. Hilton currently has a separate global promotion called More Nights, More Points running June 1 through August 15, 2026, which offers up to 4,000 bonus points per stay. If you’re targeted for both, you can earn from both on the same stay.

You also earn points from your Hilton co-branded credit card on top of everything else. The Hilton Aspire from American Express earns 14 points per dollar at Hilton properties. The Hilton Surpass earns 12. Pair the highest earning structure with both promotions and a single stay can pull in points from four directions at once: base earning, elite bonus, promotion bonus, and credit card multiplier.

For members deep in the Hilton ecosystem already, that’s where the stacking actually starts to matter. For everyone else, it’s just a quiet bonus layer.

When do Hilton bonus points expire?

Hilton points expire after 24 months of account inactivity, which means no earning or redeeming activity for two consecutive years. Any qualifying activity, including stays, credit card spend, points purchases, and partner transfers, resets the clock.

For anyone earning points through this promotion, expiration isn’t a realistic concern. Completing even one Hilton stay every two years keeps the entire account active indefinitely. The bigger risk is devaluation, which Hilton has done quietly multiple times by raising award rates without notice. Sitting on a large Hilton balance is generally not the move.

The Bottom Line

Register and pursue this if you already have three or more Hilton stays on the calendar in the next six months. At that point, the bonus is essentially free, and pushing for the fourth and fifth stay to hit the full 15,000 is a reasonable nudge if your travel patterns support it.

Hilton’s bonus points promotion 2026 is exactly what it looks like: a modest, capped offer designed to reward members who are already loyal, not to convert anyone new. Treat it accordingly.
