The Saks gift card promo is back with code OCTGC, and today Rakuten is paying 10x on Saks. The gift card offer runs through Sunday, October 18, but Rakuten’s elevated rate is usually a one-day thing, so if you were planning a Saks order this week, today is the day.
How the Saks Gift Card Promo Works
Spend $250 and get a $50 promotional gift card. Spend $500 for $100, $1,000 for $200, $2,000 for $500, or $3,000 for $900. Enter code OCTGC at checkout on saks.com, or use it by phone or in store.
The gift card is valid through November 16, 2026 and works in stores, online, and by phone. Limit one per household, and the total spend excludes tax, shipping, gift wrap, pre-orders, and anything paid with a promotional or loyalty gift card. Some designer and leased collections are excluded, so check that your item is labeled for the offer before you count on it. If you return the merchandise, Saks adjusts or claws back the gift card.
Add 10x Rakuten on Top
Start at Rakuten before you shop. If your Amex or Bilt card is linked, 10x means 10 Membership Rewards or Bilt Points per dollar. If you take cash, it’s 10% back.
On a $1,000 order, that’s 10,000 points plus a $200 Saks gift card. Rakuten excludes jewelry and gift card purchases from cash back at Saks, so keep that in mind if jewelry was the plan.

The Math at Each Tier
Counting the gift card at face value and points at 1.5 cents, the $250 tier returns about $87 on $250 spent, roughly 35% back. The $1,000 tier returns about $350, and the $3,000 tier returns $900 in gift card plus 30,000 points, about $1,350 total, or 45% back. The full table is below.

Who Should Skip This
Skip it if you’d be buying only to hit a tier. The gift card expires November 16, it only works at Saks, and it gets reduced if you return anything. This is a good deal for a purchase you were already making, not a reason to invent one. Also skip the stack if your item is jewelry, since Rakuten won’t pay on it.
