Hilton Honors Points Sale: Buy Points With 100% Bonus (Through March 14)

Hilton Honors just launched a points buying promotion that actually pencils out for certain redemptions. Through March 14, 2026, you can buy Hilton points with a 100% bonus, bringing the cost down to just 0.5 cents per point.

Here’s the deal: purchase at least 5,000 points and you’ll get a 100% bonus on top. Buy fewer than 5,000 and there’s no bonus at all, so don’t bother with small purchases.

The Math

We created this handy calculator tool to help you do this math every time.

At the maximum purchase level, you’re looking at:

  • Buy: 240,000 points for $2,400
  • Get: 480,000 total points (your 240,000 + 240,000 bonus)
  • Cost: 0.5 cents per point

I have heard reports from Cloud9Club members that they have been ablate purchase higher or lower amounts of points. There promotions are always highly targeted, so make sure to check what you’re seeing after logging into your Hilton account.

When Does This Make Sense?

Buying points at 0.5 cents each can work if you’re getting more than 0.5 cents per point in value from your redemption, which is easy to do with Hilton’s portfolio of high-end properties, especially once you factor in the 5th free night. But for mid-tier Hilton properties, you’re often looking at redemptions in the 0.4-0.6 cent range, which makes this promotion break-even territory at best.

The Fine Print

  • Sale ends March 14, 2026
  • You must buy at least 5,000 points to get the 100% bonus
  • Purchases of 1,000-4,000 points get no bonus
  • Maximum annual purchase limit is 240,000 points
  • This offer may be targeted—not everyone sees it

Note that buying points is a revenue transaction for Hilton, not an earning transaction, so you won’t get elite credit or any other benefits beyond the points themselves.

Bottom Line

You can absolutely get a significant return on your investment by buying Hilton points, and I have done it so myself many times.

Just don’t buy speculatively hoping to find value later, buy with a plan to maximize what you’re getting.
